2. You are soooooooooo funny - and make us laugh on a daily basis. (even your teacher says so)
3. You have a unique kindness that makes Daddy proud!
4. You are Mommy’s little helper.
5. You are so eager to learn new things.
6. You are a very fast runner.
Our precious angel Brody – today you are 6. Six years ago this morning we went in for a scheduled c-section, since I had one just less than 2 years earlier, with Ethan. It was January 6th, a couple of weeks before your actual due date. We were assured by the doctor that you were ‘ready’. When you were born, and I got to look at you – I thought you looked a little ‘gray’. But, you were crying like normal. Because I was in surgery, it was a little while before I got out of recovery and back to my room. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting, even Daddy wasn’t there. Finally, I was told the news – your lungs were having trouble breathing on their own – how scary for us! They put you under a little helmet for a while to increase your oxygen levels. Things kept turning worse for you and eventually you ended up on a respirator, which was exactly what you needed to turn the corner with developed lungs.
You were 8 days old when we brought you home, and you were so BEAUTIFUL!!
